(Spoilers) Problems with the Final Battle

So, I beat Sarevok, and it makes a final save, but when I load it to go to Tales of the Sword Coast, it kicks me right back to the menu screen after about 2 seconds.

Is this because I didn't kill Semaj and Tazok before I took out Sarevok? Because when I load my final save, for the two seconds before it kicks me to the menu screen, they start attacking again.

    Tales of the Sword Coast is implemented already, so you are supposed to go there before you go to Sarevok. It's not like when you installed it as an expansion back in the day when it was released. The final save now is the very final save before BG2EE
