Inaccessible tomb caves in Valley of the Tombs?

There seem to be number of linked tomb caves in the Valley of the Tombs that contain tomb containers, but it doesn't seem to be possible to enter the tomb caves in any way, I seem to remember it was this way in BG1 too, but was wondering if this is a bug? Is there any way to enter these gaves?

BTW those mustard jellies on that map are tough, mostly because of their immunities! My hardest fight yet, no one killed, but two characters slowed and posioned!

There are three cave entrances on the map. When you go down each one it goes into a different section, you can see all three tombs on that map when you're in.

Do you mean you can see all three tombs when inside one, though they're seperated on the main map?

i.e. the Ghoul Tomb, the Revenant Tomb and the Ghast Tomb?
