[Multiplayer] Jittery Character animation

I am playing with a friend where I control one character and he controls the rest. I have no issue whatsoever with the character I control however his characters jump around while moving on both my computer's view as well as my friends. His characters also move extremely slowly compared to mine. He is the host but has given me all the same multiplayer privileges as himself. I've tried looking around but cannot seem to find anything that fits my issue, help would be appreciated.

What sort of connection you running, over the web, Lan, it sounds like lag, but you probably thought of that. What are your system specs...his...could be the system he's running isn't powerful enough to host and play, though im only going from general multiplayer knowledge here...Whats his processor and ram like when he's running the game, should alt-tab out and have a look next time your playing...

Using direct IP connection so I assume over the web? But not too sure, though we'd prefer to use LAN. Yeah I thought it was lag too but it seemed odd that the effects were limited to him and I seemingly experienced no lag with my character and he said I was moving perfectly smooth.

    My system specs:
    Windows 7 x64
    Intel Core i7 920 CPU @2.67GHz
    18GB RAM
Radeon Sapphire 6870 1GB GFX Card

    His specs:
    Windows 7 x64
    Intel Core i3 2330 CPU @2.2GHz
    6GB RAM
Radeon HD 6490M / Intel HD Graphics (not sure which is valid as when he purchased it it talked about AMD being the graphics manufacturer)

I will get him to check his usage next time we play.

I would be interested to see what happens when you host and your friend joins you, in reality you have the better system for it, ram and cpu, though i do admit with a game this old it seems weird...

Have either of you altered the .ini file?

Also have him look at the faq about dual graphics solutions, internal intel graphics is know to run slowly, so should double check that to make sure...

Yeah I let him host to make sure he was the main character. He's playing for the first time so I am more or less his advisor. I have not done anything to my .ini file and I doubt he has either though I guess we could sync .ini files to make sure.

Where would I find that FAQ? On AMD or Intel's website?

I've moved the thread to the Multiplayer forum. This is something I've noticed as well, and it's been reported.
