WTF??
I'm sorry, but that is just terrible how that is just squeezed in there. Anyone who hadn't played this game before probably would have no clue what he is saying.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind the movies if there was more work put into them. I was never that attached to the original movies because they were always a bit awkward and even hokey at times (BG2 improved in that area greatly). The art style is quite good, but the animation and direction leave a lot to be desired. I would love to see them re-edit the movies and improve them properly, but I just don't see that as being realistic.
I think it's asking too much because even what we ended up with takes time and money and fixing them in any meaningful way would likely take up too much resources.
I'm just hoping that BG2:EE leaves the movies well enough alone. Those ones were great in my opinion and the last thing I would want to see is them thrown out for an awkwardly animated motion comic.
Last night my game crashed after solo-defeating Sarevok. Then, after I beat him again, the cinematic didn't trigger and it kept kicking me out of the game until I quickly ran out of the Temple of Bhaal.
The fact that he utters the line really fast, in and of itself, isn't what makes it fail, I suppose. It's that it kind of transparently appears to be shoehorned into the overall pacing of the scene.
Kills any mood the intro was trying to set.. when he dies it looks SOOOOOO bad. It's not the lines. It is the animation. Especially the blood effect
I mean, I'm okay with the graphic novel style overall. I like parts of it. It just needs more work. Hopefully they will eventually get enough staff to knock everything out of the park.
