Can't save or rest in Friendly Arms Inn after Neera goes there

After meeting Neera and doing her quest, I dismiss her from the party, and she says she's going to the FAI if I want to find her again. Since then, every time I go into the Inn, I get an immediate random quote from Neera (who is standing way on the other side of the Inn near the Innkeeper); if I try to buy a room, I get "unable to rest at this time," and if I try to save, I get "unable to save at this time." I'm guessing that I'm in the middle of a dialog that I can't actually see, based on the Neera quote firing.

(Next time I'll try talking to her to see if that solves the problem, but I wanted to jot it down here while I was thinking about it.)

    If she is near the innkeeper, how come she couldn't reach you before you try to rest?
    I think you could try ctrl-Q on her and kick her out again.
    If that doesn't work, upload your saved game somewhere so i can see what went wrong.

    She doesn't actually try to come over to me; she just stands there. And she's definitely not in my party. I'd be happy to upload a saved game that demonstrates this, but I'm a bit new to this; to where should I upload it? (I personally don't have any upload sites, alas.) Apologies if this location is mentioned elsewhere in the forum...

    OK, I learned a little more. I gather that she's supposed to come over to me and talk to me when I enter. However, she seems to be partially stuck -- she can't move, for whatever reason. Thus, I'm in a perpetual dialog mode. Problem is solved if I go over to her and talk to her, and then conclude the dialog. After that, I can save, rest, etc.
