Highlight items & BGII Style Area Map

Not being able to highlight items in BG1 was always annoying when you replayed it after playing BGII. I now some treasures were hidden on some maps eg: the Ankheg armor under the tree in Nashkel but a highlight all items key like in BGII would be great.

Also a BGII style map for each area would be awesome since each house wasn't labeled in the first game, you just had to learn off and try to remember where a quest related NPCs house was. Which got pretty hard when you got to Baldurs Gate. Also being able to add your own markers to the map was a great touch so you could lable a house "looted or locked chest upstairs".

These will most likely be implemented but I taught it would be worth pointing out.

I'm pretty sure that both of these requests have already been made (perhaps in separate topics though).

The container highlighting should be a given since BGEE will use the BG2 engine.

Likewise, the maps will most likely allow you to add labels to them, but I'm not so sure about major locations coming automatically marked.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be implemented in EE :)

I offered the set of map notes used for Tutu from BG2 Tweaks in another thread. It includes simple tags, like taverns or locations that already have signs or for major geographical features like cave entrances.

I do like tags for caves. I've skipped them before because I didn't notice them.

Ha! That's exactly why I added them as I've walked past a few as well.
