Intel i5 and Nvidia GeForce GTS 450

I want to purchase the game,but I am unsure if my computer will have problems. I have an Alienware desktop with Intel i5 and a Nvidia GeForce GTS 450. I looked on the Nvidia site and it says it supports OpenGL 4.2. I don't know anything about OpenGL. Is OpenGL 2.0 covered with 4.2? Hope I am explaining this right. Thanks for any help.It has windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
