*spoiler* Why is Eldoth Where he is?

to be honest, it seems a little strange to me that Eldoth is hanging around in the middle of cloakwood, where seemingly no one hangs out unless they're a druid or a bandit or out hunting wyverns. if I were him, I'd be at a shady tavern in Baldur's Gate looking for people to join in my little scheme. looking for thoughts on what he's doing out there.

my best guess thus far is that he ran off into the woods to hide after a recent run-in with skie's father, and we happened to bump into him just then.

there really doesn't seem to be a reason. some mods move him (and others) around.
