Black Pits, Slime Problem!

Hi,

i am rly stucking at "The Black Pits". Anyone knows, how to defeat the "split" slime? Whatever i try he (guess what) splits after death.

    Just in case the image meme isn't clear, you need to finish off the fission slimes with fire damage to keep them from splitting. My usual tactic is to wear them down to "Near Death," pull everyone off, then hit them with Agannazar's Scorcher (you can do this with a Wand of Fire if you need to). If the initial hit doesn't kill it, the damage over time effect should, provided you weakened it enough beforehand.
