BG:EE romances won't start

I'm having a problem with all the bg:ee romances (dorn, neera, rasaad) in that none of them will start. I can get their quests to trigger and I am able to finish them without any problems but otherwise they remain silent.

I have tried sleeping for 50 days outside and at an inn and nothing. I have tried to cluaconsole advance realtime and they remain as silent as ever. I have tried with CluaConsole:GetGlobal("neera.romance","global") and it just says NEERA_ROMANCEGLOBALDoes not exist. Does anyone know what the problem could which prevents the lovetalks from starting?

    What is your PC's gender and alignment?
    Rasaad will only romance good-aligned females. Neera will only romance males. Dorn's romance dialogues don't sound like romance dialogues.

    I have tried Dorn and Rasaad with neutral good and true neutral female and Neera with chaotic good male and I haven't gotten anything.
