Connect the two sections of north-eastern Baldur's Gate

I never liked this district because it was split in two halves, with a wall in between, and almost any piece of fast travel would inexplicably bring the party to the tiny uneventful half where there is almost nothing except for a couple quest bits: the only way to get to the larger and more important half of it would be to start from the northern Baldur's Gate and exit through the eastern end of map - how does that make any sense?

Could really use a small passageway through the wall, so that the players could move between the two sections at their leisure instead of doing ridiculous maneuverings and fast-travel juggling to get to its better half.

Personally I always just use the sewer drain to bypass the wall, takes maybe an extra thirty seconds over what a hole in the wall would take.
