If do NPC quest before picking up the NPC?

E.G wanted to pickup Safana...but seems she only talks to me then doesnt join group as I already found the treasure I think.

    It should be okay, but if you've already looted the cave you will need to have the tome in your possession i.e. not to have already used it!

    Assuming you can get her into your party somehow and get her quest, if you did use the tome already... simply clua console another into your inventory while she's in the party and her quest should update. You can then discard it without issue. I had to do that once when I wanted to grab Safana.

    ahhh well a late response.
    Thanks but I went all the way back to the gnoll fort where I dumped Imoen for Dynaheir. Imoen has slightly better stats.
    How do you clua console and what is the codes/command lines?
