Cannot enter city of Baldur's Gate

in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
When I try to enter the bridge area map before the city proper, the game crashes every time. I have tried entering from the east, south and west and nothing works.

    What platform you have? Got a saved game from before the crash to share?

    I hate to necro this thread, but I am currently having the exact same problem in the exact same spot. I have already submitted a trouble ticket with a zipped copy of the dmp file, but I was wondering what the fix for this problem ended up being @Avenger_teambg
