Unfinished spell casting - fireball

Just experienced for 2nd time this issue:
Edwin was supposed to cast fireball spell - he started waving hands, "spoke the spell formula", got the pink sparks all around but no fireball came out (no sound, no visual effect). He is just staying there and the waving hands animation is going all over again and again until new order is given. // Expected behavior: Finish the spell casting and cast fireball (and blow the bloody Gnolls to pieces!)
