Mulahey bug.

Hey I killed Mulahey, and proceeded.. then Xen left my party and I choose an older save before the Mulahey battle. Now whenever Mulahey is done casting pacification and starts rambling the game freezes and dies. I have tried restarting, zoning out and in etc. once he begin to talk game dies and get the message "there was a problem with baldurs gate". Also if i zone out and in again while he's about to talk game dies the second Mulahey is revealed again.. Can't continue and my old save beyond this horrifying bug is lost :( darn

EDIT: I used cheats and kill the son of a ..... now the game dies when in pick up the scroll that activates the story mode... /cry
