Best party to cover max quests/content of party members

Hi,

I played BG2, but never BG1. In BG2 I have completed every NPC's personal quest. I don't have much time in general, so would like to cover as much content in one playthrough as possible. Basically, I am interested in quests involving party NPC's. I think of having 3 "core" members and then swap the rest around. I don't really care about alignment/skills/banters etc.

I know Dorn, Rasaad and Neera have quests which I will complete, but I was wondering if any other party members have worthwhile quests. To be more precise, I want to know NPC's that give you quests only by being part of your team for long enough, and not those with trivial quests (Shar-teel, Branwen) or that simply exploit content available anyway (you can go to Gnoll Stronghold without Minsc).

Plus, does kicking NPC out of party often affect anything like your relations with him? Jaheira seems to be total b*tch, when I ask her to wait.

Wow that's crazy starting with BG2 first.

Here's a quick list....although most the NPC related quests in BG1 are going to be minor in comparison to the ones you encounter in BG2. I'm not sure if kicking a party member affects any romances but I haven't been too deep into romancing and have basically 0 knowledge on the subject. Also a select few NPC's will leave you for good when you kick them out.

    Coran
    Edwin
    Minsc
    Xzar
    Montaron
    Eldoth
    Skie
    Safana

    also Tiax I think.. but I can't remember :D

The major ones are the new NPCs who have whole new areas attached to their quest.

Dorn, Rasaad and Neera have quests of their own but no other NPC has a "real" quest in BG1 as far as I know. Kicking out, or "parking" a NPC does not affect relations in general but some of them will leave for good and/or take their sidekick with them (so be careful).
I too began with BG2, which inspired me to try BG1 to play my favorite character from level 1.
