Cleric spells (attack bonus?)

Am I correct in assuming that 'attack bonuses' for priest spells mean THAC0 bonuses? I'm planning on starting a thief-cleric for better backstab consistency than a regular thief/assassin.

    Yes anything that says it affects attack rolls give you a bonus to the roll, effectively making your THAC0 betterto hit someone. Get a half orc with 19 Str and draw upon holymight, bless, chant, aid spells will make him a nasty backstabber.
