Romance Requirements?

Hi everybody!
I've just finished the game with a good aligned male pc, romancing Neera (and maybe Dorn... I'm not sure about that ^^"). Now I wanted to try a female character to check the Rasaad romance. Is he romanceable with an evil character (assuming she behaves well only with him :P)? What about neutral? Are there any alignment/race restrictions?

    No restrictions has far has race goes. But you must keep your reputation in the range that the NPC will stay in your party.

    Rasaad will only romance good-aligned females (of any race).

    If true, that's an oddity, as all the other romances (in BG2 for example) are not alignment-based AFAIK
