(Spoiler!) Finished the game, but it kicks me right back to main menu

As I write this post I just finished the game by killing Sarevok minutes ago. The game created the final-save and so on, but when I load the savefile the game instantly kicks me right back to the main menu, just like it did after the final cutscene. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? :/ I'm sorry if such a thread already exists.

    But why does it create a savefile then afterwards? :/ Makes no sense to me. Anyway, thank you very much :)

    To export it to BG2 and keep playing the same character.
