Loving the game so far!

I just got into chapter 2, and I have to say that I am enjoying myself quite thoroughly. The wild mage and the sun-soul monk are a welcome change from that nutter Minsc and his whining girlfriend. (and Boo!) This is a lot more fun than the orginal. (OK, so it was a little buggy at first. Anyone remeber the hell-show that was the launch of NWN 2?)

Aye, I enjoy the changes for the most part. It's cool they took an amazing game and made it that much better. I haven't played this much in years. Looking forward to BGII:EE a great deal.

    ^_^

Personally I loved the original Baldur's Gate so much that I knew going in that I would enjoy revisiting it. I do like having more dialogue and more party options than before, and I can vouch that Rasaad's personal quest is a lot of fun (although it was not very intuitive how to find the final zone... grrr).

I will defend Minsc, nutter or not, and Dynaheir isn't that bad, but sometimes a change is called for. My recent playthroughs have seen some of my first non-Minsc non-Xan parties just for the sake of variety.

I'm having a blast with my bunch of misfits, CHARNAME female neutral evil elf fighter/mage, Dorn, Monty, Viconia, Imoen and Edwin... Have not even done the Bandit Camp yet, but done most the available wilderness areas and most by party is level 5 or 6 and well tooled-up :-)
