Cut-scene sounds are not playing properly

So i just purchased my BG:EE game. it downloaded smoothly and i was incredibly exited. But when first played the game the opening cut scene's sound skipped around and had very loud static. the normal game sounds fine but from what i can tell every cinematic cut scene Iv seen had the same problem (opening cut-scene entrance into friendly arm inn and sleeping indoors)
