    Have you tried to uninstall the installer. That worked for me.

    uninstall the installer ?? why on earth would i do that ?? makes no sense anyway ive sent a message to support thanx

    are you using the direct BGEE installer or the beamdog one?

    @hummer010 Looks like subterra made another thread about getting a refund 3.5 weeks ago. Where being told to contact support (support@beamdog.com) was mentioned. This thread, like the last one, should be closed. Since support has already been contacted by the OP, there is no reason to be posting this. It certainly does not belong in the general section of the forum.

    Uninstall the installer and reinstall. My install was halted and I think something got stuck and or corrupted after the initial flooding of the website on the day of release.

    That happened to me too. I was getting the frozen download or around 3 *bytes* a second. I uninstalled the installer and tried again and it downloaded the whole thing in under an hour. It was the initial flood, I think a lot of things froze or got corrupted.
