Is there a way to save Minsc?

So I just arrived at the Gnoll Stronghold....and Minsc decided to turn on my party for taking to long to help him. It doesn't matter which savegame I load, I will not have enough in-game time to get to the stronghold without him turning on me. My question is this:
1. Is there a way to avoid fighting him (hack or otherwise) to get him to re-join your party.
2. Is there a way to hack the in-game timer, to give me enough time to do the quest for Minsc?
3. Is there absolutely anything else (don't care if I have to hack the game) that I can do to save him?
If I am unable to help him, I don't even think I'm gonna finish the game.

If you don't have enough time, I'd just try spawning another Minsc and disposing of the other one. I did this fix a few years ago, pretty sure you can reset the actual timer somehow but I think it's simpler to Move to Area or spawn another minsc with CLUA.
Hopefully that works
If you're on PC, just use the CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar5100") from a save in which he isn't yet pissed off. Shouldn't be a problem then. I'll double check the area code right now.
EDIT: ninja'd
2. Yes. Using ShadowKeeper, go to "global variables" and change "HELPMINSC" from 1 to 0. This will reset the timer.
3. You might be able to manually edit a file somewhere...

You are now god.

but I'm quite sure you need the CLUA console enabled to Ctrl + Q somebody
