Strength items for my Paladin

Hi
My Paladin has only 14 STR and I'm looking for some items that can increase my STR.
Any suggestions where I can find or buy some?
Thanks

Potions abound. Gauntlets of Ogre Power in the city of Baldur's Gate. And a tome that will raise your base strength by a point is in the tombs under Candle Keep.

Unless you are intentionally gimping yourself for the challenge, I suggest a reroll... aside from that there is a belt that gives you 19 str but sets your int down to 6, or there are the gauntlets of ogre strength. There are also various potions throughout the game that temporarily increase your strength

Thanks. The reason why I didn't roll 18/00 was because I wanted some other stats to be decent.

Palidin need a lot of good stats
    go for
    18/75 + on STR
15 DEX you will be wearing plate armour so DEX bonus will not that important
    16 to 18 on CON
    16 to 18 on CHA
    16 on WIS
    that 81
just use INT for your low stat dump
have not played BG1 since BG2 came out
looking forward to playing it again

    @OzzyBotkins

Paladins have a minimum of 17 Charisma

    I rolled my paladin 17 str, 16 dex, 18 con, 10 int, 13 wis, 18 cha and he's a beast.

You're mixing in 3e rules that don't have any effect on a 2e paladin.

There's no maximum dexterity bonus in 2e, meaning a high dexterity is just as beneficial in full plate as it is in a mage robe. Wisdom does absolutely nothing for a paladin, so taking it to the minimum (13, I believe) is recommended. And the Charisma minimum of a paladin is 17, which is barely any worse than an 18.

The most important stats in BG for a paladin are STR, DEX and CON.

DEX should be 17 at least (to get 18 with the tome) in order to have max AC possible for a tank. 18 from start would be nice to survive until BG city in a no reload game. OzzyBotkins is wrong, heavy armor does not cap DEX as in 3rd edition D&D (BG1&2 use 2nd edition rules).

CON is equally important to survive an accidental fireball or lightning bold, 19 CON can get you ~100 HP by the end of the game on core rules.

STR is important if you have a limited party, to kill the enemies fast, otherwise if you have a powerful supporting party then STR is not as important as DEX and CON, but should be at least 16 in order to benefit from damage bonus.

My Cavalier in chapter 7. Started with 18 STR, DEX and CON. Note the 101 HP thanks to 19 CON and the -9 AC with DEX bonus and equipment only.
