there is, 4th level, it can give +1 to each of your (or anyone on the team) stats.
also, there's deck of many things (3rd level), which can give you +1 to your main stat, sometimes selected in quite a retarded way. (FMTs main stat for example is intelligence... not strength, intelligence. :C)
Okay, thanks. I gave away one of the Wisdom tomes to complete the quest for Tremain in BG city. I have the other two, though. My Fighter-Mage has Wisdom 10. And mages get a bonus 1st level spell if Wis is 13. So it makes sense to use the two tomes for him versus giving them to Viconia in BG:EE (so that she can get a bonus 3rd level spell).
yup, only them. for F/Ms however wisdom isn't nearly as useless as it seems, though that only manifests at higher levels - to be more precise, it's required for limited wish. why? cos fighter/mages have no other useful lvl7 spells (mantle? phah.), and at least limited wish has the option to give you back one of each spells between the 1st-4th level - but it requires 16 wis... so if you start with less then 13-14 wisdom, chances are you'll never reach it anyway.
@ZanathKariashi and @DinsdalePiranha Thanks, that's one of those many things about the game I had forgotten, and I didn't see it stated in the manual's table.

I guess I'll give Viconia those two tomes then.
