Rasaad quest

I've had Rasaad for a while now and I haven't activated his quest, when should I expect to see it. I'm in the cloakwood mines at the moment. Does his dying/resurrecting reset his dialogues, because I get the stuff about him first coming to Nashkel every time he's resurrected and he's resurrected A LOT. Do I need to keep him alive for a longer period before I hear more of his backstory or is there a way to CLUA force his dialogues?

    His quest activates in Baldur's Gate.

    I am in thief warrens about to finish game and have still not unlocked Rasaad's quest.

    I got to Baldur's Gate, then went back to recruit him, slept in an inn for a few weeks to get all his dialogue, got the event, did his quest and booted him hard. I'd recruited him when I first went to Nashkel to steal his boots, so he did all this at level 2.

    @mjs - have a mage case invisibility on him and use him as an invisible speedy scout. Have him sit out all but major fights so as not to waste the spell.

    @SirK8 he's actually become rather good now (i used tomes of dex and con) he's got the glitter bands too and when he joins the battle after Ajantis (who has boots of speed). he now, quite consistently, hits well.
