Question/Help about Dual Class

Hi all, the first time I played BG1+BG2 (years ago) I have finished the game with a Thief/Mage dual classed :D Now I want to change and play with a (dual class) Fighter(Berserker)/Cleric and use two weapon fighting and here starts the questions. When i'll surpass my fighter level i'll be able to grand master a weapon or i'm stuck like multiclassing with only 2 prof in one weapon? If it's correct the second option i need to be a Fighter 9 to have:
2 prof flail
2 prof mace
3 prof two weapon fighting

It's not better so dual class a Ranger 7 into a Cleric? I'll have:
1 prof xxx
2 prof flail
2 prof mace
3 prof two weapon fighting (2 are free)

Last question: which weapon are better? Flair for sure and the other? Mace, Warhammer or what?

Thankx to all :D

Yes, after you regain your fighter levels you can specialize beyond 2 pips in a weapon.

Also, unless you have modded the xp cap, you will be unable to get to fighter level 9, or be able to do ranger 7->cleric 8.

I know about the xp cap, this was a planning also for BG 2 :D

So let's say i'm going to dual class Fighter/Cleric, i'll have 5 pips in the two weapon i'll choose at Fighter9/Cleric30 ?

If you're planning for BG2. Dual class at 13. It'll give you the full attacks per round and you'll still be able to hit level 38 as a Cleric.

Dual classing from a ranger after level 8 will give your cleric full access to druid spells.

Warhammer is best in BG1, Flails is best in BG2, BG2 is probably harder so I'd plan for that but its down to you.

    1 prof xxx

You have proficiency points in porn?

Man, I need to install that mod.

Technically, dual-classing at 2 gives your cleric all druid spells, due to an oversight in the way spell books work that people are too lazy to fix.

At last I decided to play all BG1 as Berserker and dual-class at 13 during BG2 :D

Uhm I'm thinking also about the party. This time i'll use: Imoen, Edwin, Viconia, Dorn and Neera :D
