Rasaad, can you pick up after you open BG?

Wondering if you can take Rasaad later in the game and still get his quest line? Took him when I first met him and found him useless. Would rather take him later just to complete his quest line and then dump him back at an inn.

    yup. his quest activates 10 days after you pick him up, but you don't need him in the party until you actually want to start it, you can just kick him out, and go on your merry way for 10 days. he has a talk at 1 day after being picked up, another one at 6-7 days, and then you can start his quest by going to BG docks when 10 days have passed, though I have no idea whether the talks active normally if he's not with you.
