Framerate

When will the framerate changer come back? Please give it back. Really.

I really like BGEE but 30fps is simply too horribly slow to enjoy it.

    You can change the fps in the Baldur.ini file. You should find it in your documents folder in the"Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition" directory.

    Inside the .ini file you will find a setting "Maximum Frame Rate". It will be set at 30 but just change it to whatever you want (I have mine set at 45fps). Then save the file and hey presto no problems.

    I hope they would implement this to in-game options.

    @ReadingRambo

    You can change BG2 framerate from the configuration program -> general tab. I don't have BG2 installed, but you should find it from start menu under BG2 or config.exe from the installation folder.

    There is no config program. If you want to change the framerate then you'll need to use the above method.

    I know I had a config program in my BG2 installation. Maybe it comes with ToB?

    Edit. Or maybe you were referring to OP.

    I have tried this some time after release (first patch maybe?) but it didn't work and many people reported that the setting is there but it has no effect. Has it changed? I can't test it atm.

    I was referring more to BGEE rather than BG2.
