White screen at the start of the game

Hi I finally decide to buy this amazing game. However I had download the standalone installer, I installed the game add my email and password. The game complete the installation without any problem, I open the luncher on the desktop I click on play and the I go on a complete white screen, I hear the sound I see the hand(that replace the mouse) but everything else is white.

My laptop is a windows 7 acer with an Nvidia geforce gt520 intel core i3. That should be more than enought.

can you help me please ? I really want play this game.

Right click on Baldur.exe / properties, and turn off desktop composition

I had the same problem after forcibly updating the display drivers (got the game working without insane lag though )), but I found out that I could start the game in window mode and then switch back to full screen. I will try to turn off desktop composition and see if that helps.

Works fine for me now
