Changing npc portraits

Anyone know how to do this? Specifically I want to change corans portrait to kivans, and I want to use a custom portrait I have for Imoen. I have both portraits formatted and sized but I'm not sure where to place them. I have Shadowkeeper working but not sure where the portraits go for Shadowkeeper to find them (I use the copy/paste from the document save file to base bg ee directory save method).

So u just put them in the override and name them according to npc? That's far easier than I thought it would be, thanks! I'll do that next time I'm at my computer

Yes, Shadowkeeper is not required. Just be careful that some names are slightly different (e.g. BRANWE instead of Branwen, MONTAR instead of Montaron, etc.). Check the other link in my old post for the full list of names.
