Game crashes

Hello all,

I am trying to play BG2:ToB on multiplayer by myself, to try out a custom party. I go into multiplayer, tcp/ip, click on create game, and when I press either new game or load game, my game freezes and sends me to desktop. Futhermore, I cannot open up task manager by ctrl alt del method, or by clicking on the taskbar, so I have to log out to actually close the program.

I am using windows 7 64bit, the game runs perfectly on single player, so I am not sure if win7 is the culprit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I've no idea what could cause that, tho i can run both sp and mp fine and im also running win7 64bit so i dont think that is the problem. Might just be a firewall issue but im not sure if it actually tries to do anything online if you're only creating a local game...
