A wait feature...

Id like to have a wait feature with the option to select how many hours i wanna wait.My thief likes the dark.
Another thing id like is an option to make it so the time is normal time not military.

I was just thinking this the other day. Not the different lengths of time aspect, but being able to wait 8 hours in contrast to resting for 8. Like in the Elder Scrolls games. No healing takes place, but I can wait a few hours outside of the smith/shop to loot it at night (or trade in the day) instead of going all the way to an inn or wilderness.

Time is fast in BG - why not to go kill some gibberlings instead of waiting? Or do side-quests? And only shedule important business on hours you like?

@qwert_44643 There already is a wait function. If you press CTR + T time advances 1 hour. A few quick control +T's and you are at the desired time.

Well, I didn't know there was a wait feature either! Dang, I always hated resting because I like to use up *ALL* my spells before resting, keeps things consistent.

@qwert_44643 Sorry, I assume people are more familiar than I should.

You must have successfully placed the Debug Mode, 1 in your baldur.ini first.

@qwert_44643 it is in your \Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition folder and the .ini extension may or may not be visible depending on how you have your view options set for that folder in windows.
