iPad and targeting doors

I am very happy to have BGEE on my iPad (I have the PC version too). The only frustrating part is targeting doors. I was able to get into Firebeards house and get the quest but can't target the door to get back in. I spent 10 minutes trying to target the door. Any tips on targeting on the iPad.

Best tip of all, im surprised noone has mentioned it!!!
First, if you cant get into a door press the menu tab or any tab for that matter, then return to game, It now should work, for some unknown reason, this happens frequently and that seems to fix it for me, also sometimes you cant click on an NPC to talk to them, same problem.
If your just having a hard time targeting the exact spot of the door... loot.. or chest, then select your whole party, pause the game, and click till you see just one cursor.

Also try zooming in as far as you can. I have better luck with some things. Also they are working on a smart pick up script for the ipad.

Edit: I can't read obviously, sorry. Don't mind me. :P

As soon as you have more than one character in your party, pause before clicking any door way/passage. When you only get one "move marker" (as opposed to all six in a six member party) you should be able to pass through. I.e. pause and keep on tapping around the passage way until only one marker shows then un-pause.

Agree this is frustrating. Firebeard's house, and anyplace else where you can't see the door- is especially difficult on the iPad. Two things that seem to have worked for me at different times:

    1. Change the physical configuration of the party (to a straight line for example)
    2. Select one character to trigger the door. Once they go through, it somehow becomes easier for the others- possibly because once you hit the exact right spot it is easier to get the second time. (This works especially well when I need to leave an area and can't get the door to work.)
