double clicking disabled?

in Original BG2 Bugs
so i just started up a bg II game and for some reason i cant double click anything ( cant double click on the map to go back to game or cant double click for higher quantity of items in stores) i've never had this problem before, does anybody know how to fix this? i tried messing around with my mouse options on my pc, but that still doesnt do anything
