[Game Crash] [Single Player] iPad Area Transition

Occasionally the game will crash hard to the home screen when you transition areas. When you try and load the autosave from the area transition, it will revert to your previous quicksave.

I'm assuming this is because the autosave mechanism is crashing in the middle of writing the save game file, mangling both the runtime and the save file.

Current workaround: I'm in the habit of quicksaving before every area transition.
