beamdog launcher not working... [Solved]

I'm expecting the latest patch to download, instead it looks to be stuck.

    Firewall/Router problem maybe?

    Thanks for the suggestions tomty89.

    I check my firewall/AV software and its firewall is off.
    Windows firewall is On but it has settings for allowing the launcher through. (Disabling the windows firewall had no change in behaviour.)
    I checked some of my Router settings but no luck.

    I stopped the beamdog launcher using task manager.
    I re-downloaded the beamdog launcher and reinstalled it. ( http://www.beamdog.com/about/us )
    Started fine... With Download of BGEE paused on startup.
    I checked the Settings and decided to turn off Turbo mode.
    I went back to My Games and unpaused the download and it all worked good.

    I don't know what went wrong for sure, but if someone else has similar problems perhaps my workflow above will help fix the problem.
