So what about the Multiplayer patch?

From what i was reading it sounded like the upcoming patch (january 15th) would be the multiplayer patch but it wasnt while i did very much enjoy the "secret stuff" they added My friends and I would really like to play together online, so was wondering is the next patch the multiplayer one then? or is it still just a "at some time in the future" patch?

    The patch fixed most of it, can you be more specific about your problem?

    The multiplayer as in like match making lobbies etc. they promised well before the game was released not strictly TCIP my friends and I have only gotten the TCIP to work when were at the same apartment we all live 30+ minutes away and it doesnt work when were all at our own place.

    And to Sylvus I liek the leafs to i like all O6 except the blackhawks, a shame the winter classic between the Wings and Leaves was canceled due to the lockout :/ hopefully its still on for next year I still have tickets.

    are they waiting for it to be out on all platforms or having trouble or what?

    I know that they're working on it, but I can't say when it will be released, mainly because I know that they want to make sure it works (and works well). I suspect that as it gets closer I might be able to say a little more about not only when it will be available, but also (perhaps) how it will work.

    The multiplayer fixes in this patch are a major first step, though.

    the fixes for multiplayer in this patch im not sure what they fixed? could someone explain? My friend lives ~30 miles away and the TC/IP would not work, however when we were in the same apartment it worked just fine so i assume distance was/is an issue. Is it still an issue? assuming that was the issue to begin with.

    One thing that you could try if nothing else works is a virtual private network like Hamachi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamachi_(software) ) with your friends.
