Damage on "Core Rules" difficulty setting

Sorry to ask a basic question whose answer is widely known or that has already been posted on these forums.
Am I correct that with the Core Rules, an enemy who would be a clone of one of my character would do the same amount of damage as my character?

    You are correct.

On normal you take 75% of the damage you normally should. On core you take 100% damage and the higher the difficulty after that you take more and more damage percentage wise.

I personally think Normal difficulty should have 100% damage as well though, but yea, fighting a clone it would be up to the RNG to decide if who wins.

Yah I wish it was 100 percent to. I find switching it back to scribe scrolls to be kinda annoying

Thanks for confirming, mates! As several people have already asked for on previous threads, it would be nice to have a more fine-grained set of tick-boxes to check so as to independently choose scribing failure, damage level, permanent death, etc.
