Deafness spell...

Playing BP & two party members had been afflicted with deafness - had tried dispel magic numerous times (over several rounds in the arena) to no avail finally tried remove disease and it worked - no dialoge message about dispel failing - do you suppose it's not working (deafness spell description says it should work) or was I just unlucky?

    You have to roll with dispel magic.. based on caster level and all that. But it doesn't show a roll in the chat window. That's why sometimes you see a mage that has stoneskin and mirror image get hit with a dispel magic and only use one or the other buff, or none, or both. It's a roll thing.
