Irenicus is the most bad ass villian of all time and I have always wanted him in my party, with the longer road/redemtion mod it was made possible and I would want something similar in BGEE

I suggest that they use these mods(somehow make their own or something) to have in game for the BG2 and Throne of Bhaal exp. It would be awesome to have him change side after his resurrection(good or bad but still with your side and having him forgive Queen Ellesime). Having him cast "Rapture of the Father" randomly with a small chance would be even more awesome.

Also since I think he is very interesting so I hope they could make the player discover more about his past, how he became so powerful and how it all changed him. Having David Warner voice again would be legendary!

    I don't think the ressurection thing will happen coz he had his mad(but powerful) ambitions and i doubt he will change in his second life. But i rly like the idea about Irenicus's past.Additional quest or something will be good.

    Yeah I understand but to somehow make it happen would be great, e.x he gets his soul back and stop being mad about revenge or anything else as long as you can have him. You can have books in the game that you'll find and read then have cutscenes with him about his past. I'm sure many would love to know more about our powerful wizard.

    Never succeded with the redemption but I have only played it 2 or 3 times. Will give it a new go when the weather is bad.

    What do you think about the mod? I think it's great and they have put alot of work in it.

    Yeah the longer road is an excellent mod, I totally love it. Dialogues between Irenicus and "charname" are really well done, the personality of Jon fits 100% with what we knew about him in SoA. I was close to redeem him at my second game but I failed somewhere in dialogues...

    I love Irenicus, he's like the Shapiro of BG. But i'll don't like him in my party. He should stay in the Abyss.
