Cannot find Belt of antipode on Gorion's body

Hi guys, when I first started the game I did not think about going back to Gorion's body to look for items. Now after quite a long while I decided to go back to get the scroll that was on Gorion's body and loot him for items but he only has a scroll on his body, anyone have any ideas as to how to get back the belf of antipode without cheating or restarting the game?

    If you left it on the ground and walked away, it's gone for good.

    The only way to get it back now is to cheat it in or restarting, the two things you don't want to do.

    You can't. The scroll is a plot-related item, so it remains on the ground indefinitely. The belt, however, is not and does not. It is gone forever unless you CLUA it back in or use a savegame editor.

    Do you need the belt of antipode to successfully complete the game? Cause if it is not needed then it is ok, if not I hope the developers could patch it in to make it such that magical items stay in the game indefinitely in the next patch!

    I do not like editing games, but it seems like a lack of foresight when such situations occur that you require to edit games. I want my first play through to be legit so thats why I am not using any editing and am not considering it.

    Overhaul games please help and make it such that magical items do not disappear if you walk away!

    No, it's not needed for anything at all.

    I pretty sure this will never change.
    It was this way in the original game as well.
    If you didn't pick up dead party members EQ before you left the area, it disappeared as well.

    All items not left in a container will disappear.

    It's pretty much the Belt of Cheesily Defeating Winter Wolves. And that's about all it's good for.
