"Action Area" misplaced

As you can see in the attached area, the area where the gameplay happens misplaced. it is always stuck to the lower left part of the screen. If I zoom in/out it becomes larger/smaller. To play I must click in the now complete black area and I will see on the lower left where I have clicked. It is quite unplayable like this.

The game works fine in the menu's and when I open my inventory everything works fine too. I've tried changing my resolution (high/low and normal/widescreen), full screen/not fullscreen. 1've tried running in admin mode, changed compatability mode to XP and I've enabled/disabled display scaling on high DPI settings.

Nothing works.

Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650

    Just a crap shoot but have you tried deleting baldur.ini and restarting the game?
