Advice for a cross-game RP (including BG)

I've got a bit of free time coming up, and with "Neverwinter Nights 2" finally available at GOG I thought I might finally expand my familiarity with Faerun-based CRPGs beyond "Baldur's Gate". As I'm the type to formulate characters and RPs before actually starting to play, I've been thinking about the various player characters each game requires, and I came up with a concept that I'm not entirely sure works - feedback would be most welcome.
The title of the RP is "Legacy".
Neverwinter Nights 1: Matthias Vydran, a Lawful Good Human Paladin.
Shadows of Undrentide/Hordes of the Underdark: Alianna Khemest, Neutral Evil Elf Wizard.
At some unspecified point, Matthias and Alianna meet, and despite their differences they act on mutual attraction. Alianna has a child, but gives it up and travels south to the Sword Coast, where she becomes involved in the Cult of Bhaal.
Baldur's Gate 1-2: Selendis Khemest, Neutral Evil Elf Sorcerer and the son of Alianna and Bhaal.
Neverwinter Nights 2/Mask of the Betrayer: Zul'rakka il-Khemest, Lawful Evil Half-Orc Barbarian. The adopted daughter of Selendis and Dorn il-Khan.
Storm of Zehir: Erik Redmark, Lawful Neutral Half-Elf Red Wizard. The son of Matthias and Alianna.
Mysteries of Westgate: Lianna Redmark, Lawful Good Human Paladin. Erik's daughter with Inshula (I know there's no romance in SoZ, but... creative liberties!), Lianna is unknowingly following in her grandfather's footsteps.
(I'm also planning for other members of the Vydran-Khemest family to turn up in NWN1's premium modules: Matthias' younger sister Teresa will be the PC of "Wyvern Crown of Cromyr", while Alianna's father Daeron will head up "Pirates of the Sword Coast". If IWD had actual characters as opposed to stick figures, I'd probably have a warrior/wizard pair of brothers, Teresa's twin sons.)
The main issue I'm curious about at the moment is whether these games sync up in terms of chronology. To clarify, I'm not interested in the Faerun calendar per se, I can handwave that, but more along the lines of specific in-game references: for example, how far apart in time are the events of NWN1 and NWN2? Are there references to the events of the Bhaalspawn saga in NWN1? Does "Mysteries of Westgate" take place after "Storm of Zehir"?
Any advice would be most welcome, as I'm still moving puzzle pieces around with a minimal frame of reference...

May that help you sort out the timeline. I'm confused though...what triggered the Bhaalspawn saga again? Isn't it after the time of troubles? Wouldn't that make PC a pup?
EDIT: Reference - Darek Death
Hahaha I'm sorry about that. I read your post in a hurry and understood it the opposite way. Doh! To answer your question: I also do that stuff, and for me...I created mage characters for TOEE, BG, NWN 1&2, and assumed they would meet up later as the most powerful mages and would create their own circle.:-) there is also high-level mod (Vecna mod) in BG-2 wherein you'd fight god level beings, and I used all those protagonists (through multiplayer). It was awesome seeing all of them together kicking uber beings.
As @ReadingRambo exactly said. :-) And it was indeed a fun playthrough. If Psionics Unleashed was only released earlier, I could have had closely replicated my NWN-1 psionic protagonist - that would have been cool. I just turned him into a cleric/mage. He was second-in-command, next to my BG protagonist who was a Geomantic Sorcerer. My NWN-2 protagonist was a Swiftblade and Eldritch Knight; but I couldn't replicate it so I used fighter/mage and IIRC SK'd him to be faster. My TOEE protagonist was a pure mage, who just happens to love traveling to other planes. If you haven't tried Vecna mod, you should...BG-2 lacks high-level adventures, and the mod fills up the hole.
