Still based on 2nd Edition?

I've skimmed the forum and found no one addressing this issue, so I thought I'd just ask directly.

Will the system remain unchanged, i.e. based on AD&D 2nd Edition? I ask, because I am very afraid they might edit it to 4th Edition, which would ruin everything. 3.5 I could live with, but not 4th.
