Can you use Detect Illusion and Detect Traps while wearing heavy armor?

Just curious....can anyone confirm if armor restrictions affect these skills?

Seems like it wouldn't make sense since it's about being observant.

    I know with traps, the answer is no. Not sure about illusions. Put heavy armor on and all of your thief abilities get greyed out.

    Actually yes, you can detect whilst wearing armour, just checked. Short of checking the actual code beneath I can't guarantee it's working, but I see no reason why one or the other wouldn't work, they're both keyed off the same toggle.

    No, you can still detect (but not remove) traps when wearing heavy armour with no penalty

    You just can't disarm traps when you're in heavy armour.

    That's fine, in most cases you can just take it off and get to work.
