Quick swap ranged weapon to off-hand weapon/shield?

Is there any way to do a mod that would allow you to quick swap say a long bow and two dual-wielding weapons from interface buttons in the bottom bar? I think you would need two off hand slots: one for a bow which would be disabled when you dual-wield (or go sword+shield) and another for off hand melee weapon/shield that would be disabled when you use a bow.

    I think this is the kind of thing that would have been done already if it was possible to do through modding. Which leads me to believe it's hardcoded, which means that it's up to the devs. It's probably one of the most requested features I've seen though, so hopefully they're working on it.

    Yeah I'm probably not to only one who would love this feature. Always swapping weapon in the inventory screen in the middle of the battle is really annoying. It almost makes me want to only use single weapon styles :/
