Party, Npc, enemy and my voices don't work

in Original BG2 Bugs
I dug out BG 2: SoA a few days ago and have been playing it here and there and its quite fun. A problem came up immedieatly when I started as NONE of the voices worked. This isn't just muted because every other noise works;Spells, ambient noise, musci etc except voices. Can anyone help?
