Multi-Class NPC Level Bump

I've always thought its a bit annoying when you play a multi-class character, and since you are 1/1 to start, it makes the first (normally 1st level) NPC you encounter, a level higher. I realize the game is geared to adjust NPC levels based on what level you are when you meet them, but I think its just a bit lame that ur main is considered level 2 because you are 1/1. Then again, I personally think it'd be nice if the NPCs stayed their lowest possible level when you encounter them, but I guess that'd be a big change and not very popular. Ah well.

I've got no issue with it, it costs you some nice early items for some characters, and I really don't see a point as your character isn't two(three) separate full levels, he's a gestalt of aspects of all.

It does make getting some thieves with customisable skills rather annoying. By the time you pick up Coran on a 3/3 multiclass he's level 5 and usually dumped all his points in lockpicking and move silently. Not horrible, but he's got an abysmal find traps that you can only raise to 99 by the level cap.
