Max Strength? (BGII:SoA Question)

Okay, so... Looking at this, I have to ask, is it possible for a raging barbarian wielding Crom Faeyr to pump his Strength to 29? Or does the game cap Strength at 25? If the strength can be pumped to 29, what are the bonuses for having strength of the gods?

All scores cap at 25 in AD&D.

Right, so... Other then the con boost then, a barbarian's rage is lackluster if you plan on using Crom Faeyr... Not bad, but going for a Berserker would probably be the better option in that case

If u plan on using warhammers and being human, I would recommend dualing the berserker to cleric at some point, which level exactly is debatable. You would retain all the berserkers abilities while being able to cast awesome spells.

While Dualing berserker to cleric is rediculous, I wanted something as tanky as possible, meaning dwarf or Half-Orc, and Dwarf just outright wins that battle. Sure, it's a bit awkward for the romances (Of which, ALL of them are elves >.<), but I figure growing up in Candlekeep has stifled the natural prejudice the main character, being a dwarf, might have against elves.

Dwarf isn't a bad race, certainly, but if you're already thinking romances and SoA, a dual class Berserker/Cleric is far tankier than a straight dwarven Berserker.

Attributes cap at 25 for gods too.

You never know... There's a freakin' Half-Orc Blackguard (which makes me want to be a Half-Orc Paladin, but I'll beat the game "vanilla" first)

Since the max weight allowance for 25 strength is 1600 pounds, this must mean that the gods can create a rock (or mountain) so heavy that not even they can lift it.

    Question solved.
